Conventions
Every four years the Society hosts an International Convention in Great Britain. The last Convention was in 2005 in Birmingham with members attending from around the world for three days of discussion, lectures, shows, an exhibition and an auction. Each Convention is the launch for a new addition to the Society's extensive catalogue of publications relating to the Magic Lantern. Work is already well advanced for the next Society publication to coincide with the Convention scheduled for 17 - 19 April 2009, to be held in London.
The highlight of each Convention is a Gala Dinner accompanied by a spectacular Magic Lantern Show.
The Exhibition features exceptional items from members private collections.
Conventions are special Society events and not to be missed.
