1991 The Society changed its name to The Magic Lantern Society in order to reflect the increasing international membership. |

1993 We held The Fourth International Convention at the Architectural Association in London; again about 150 members attended. The Society published its fourth book, THE LANTERN IMAGE - iconography of the Magic Lantern 1420 - 1880, to coincide with this event. |

1995 The Society held a meeting in Zeist, The Netherlands, at the home of one of the members who had built a 50-seater private magic lantern theatre at his home. |
