Our Convention Venue

Our Convention will be held at the Midlands Arts Centre in Cannon Hill Park, 250 acres of gardens, woodland and recreational areas in an attractive leafy suburb just outside Birmingham city centre.

The MAC is a busy purpose-built modern arts centre, supporting a variety of events, workshops and venues on site, including theatre, cinema, exhibition spaces, bar and café. Step-free and wheelchair access is available throughout the venue.

It’s very easy to find – the entrance is opposite Edgbaston Cricket Ground so whether you’re on foot or driving, just follow the brown cricket ground signs and you can’t miss it.

Frequent buses run from the city centre along Pershore Road and Bristol Road, where a short walk brings you to our venue – or it’s a 10-15 minute taxi ride from New Street railway station. Public car parking (pay on site) is available at the venue.

A short distance away are the University campus, the Edwardian Winterbourne House and Gardens, and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. Or you could take a pedalo out on the lake in the park!
