Wilhelm Busch - Mr & Mrs Brown and the Mouse
These images are an incomplete set of Lantern Slides. Slide 3 is missing (images 4, 5 and 6).
These hand painted long slides are the earliest known examples of W Busch slides. They are currently owned by John Hyett in Australia. He bought them in Australia and the seller said that they had come from Switzerland, but we have no way of confirming this or who the maker might have been. The pictures of the incomplete box (the lid is missing along with slide No2) they came in are shown in the hope that someone might be able to provide further clues..
